Nicole Steffen founded HR-Office.

After her work as a teacher, Nicole Steffen worked for several years as a consultant for the Goethe-Institut and for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), now known as the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

Thereafter, she consulted for one of the world's largest staffing companies on applicant management and e-recruiting, leading projects in requirements management to optimize application processes and systems.

With the founding of HR-Office, Nicole Steffen turned her vision of sustainable people management into reality. Her professionalism and commitment shape the company just as much as her distinctive ability to bring people together across all hierarchical levels. Through her passion and efficiency, she laid the foundation for connecting the right talent with the right opportunities and for enabling sustainable success for both individuals and organizations.

Nicole earned a degree in German Studies and Political Science, focusing on the Eastern expansion of the European Union.

Achim began his career in automation engineering at an engineering firm. Later, he joined an American industrial automation corporation, where he held various positions including Lead Engineer, Project Manager, and Quality Manager, before assuming the role of head of procurement in Central Europe. Subsequently, Achim undertook senior and managerial roles with global responsibilities in project management, procurement, global sourcing, and supply chain management across various industries, including upstream oil and gas, equipment manufacturing, and the solar and semiconductor sectors. Lastly, he served as Director of CapEx and Services Procurement in the food industry, overseeing procurement operations in the US and Canada.

Achim holds master degrees in Electrical Engineering, focusing on industrial automation, and in Business Engineering, specializing in financial and risk management. He is also a certified Procurement and Supply Chain Professional, holding C.P.M. (by ISM) and CSCP (by ASCM/APICS) certifications.
