Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Germany

For our client Neste we are searching a Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Germany.

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d) you will be key to to accelerate sales growth in Germany for HVO100 through channel partner sales and to position Neste as a key provider of Renewable Road Transportation Solutions in Germany. You will work with Neste’s distributors to ensure they have the right capabilities and tools, agree on their targets and manage their performance.
You will be closely connected with internal stakeholders like Market Development, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Public Affairs to ensure that the service levels meet or exceed the requirements of the customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive and accelerate the growth of Neste’s Renewable Diesel (HVO100) activities in Germany
  • Explore new growth opportunities, following the recent full allowance of HVO100 sales through distributors and partnerships
  • Establish and manage key relationships with distributors, partners and stakeholders in Germany
  • Ensure maximal value creation over time by exploring business opportunities and actively participate in future business model design and execution
  • Agree on KPIs and manage sales and performance of distributors
  • Identify growth opportunities with the distributors and provide support, capabilities and tools
  • Interface towards supporting functions facilitate development and enhancement of customer offers
  • Manage and negotiate contracts
  • Driving the dialogue around renewable fuels, sustainability, feedstocks etc. with distributors, end users, and other stakeholders, including speaking at conferences or participating in panel discussions
  • Provide the wider Neste organisation with local market knowledge
  • Ensure overall compliance with contractual obligations, including brand, marketing and HSEQ standards

Your Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or similar education
  • 10 years of B2B sales/commercial experience in complex sales environments
  • Commercial experience in selling through partners and distributors
  • Experience in the liquid fuel market in Germany, and a good understanding of renewable fuels, biofuels or fossil fuel industries is is desirable
  • Ability to articulate brand value and create customer loyalty
  • Track record profitable sales growth and relationship development
  • Versatility to function effectively in a remote, fast paced and changing business environment
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
  • Comfortable to take on communication in front of
  •  Ability to find opportunities and work with other teams to create value
  • Strong motivation to work with sustainability and environmentally impactful solutions
  • Availability to travel about 40%
