Sales Director Process Systems and Solutions (m/w/d)
For our client Emerson Automation Solutions we are currently seeking a Sales Director Process Systems and Solutions (m/w/d) in the area of Langenfeld.

Responsible for Sales for Process Systems and Solutions with the objective of maximizing the financial targets whilst achieving the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction within the framework of the required EPM corporate goals.
Principe job responsibilities:
- Achieve the agreed Process Systems and Solutions financial targets for Germany
- Provide Leadership to the Inside and Outside Sales team including the Support Centers by setting clear goals and objectives and ‘Leading by Example’
- Develop new initiatives to expand Customer Base leading to a significant increase of German Market Participation and maximize the revenues from the Installed Base
- Build and maintain relationships with top management of key customers in close co-operation with the other Business Units
- Closely cooperate with the Operations and Services group in Langenfeld and Support Centre’s to optimize the balance between Profitability, Bookings and Customer Satisfaction
- Report business situation to General Manager, Finance Director and Business Unit
- Strictly adhere to the “Business Ethics” stipulated by Emerson
- Gatekeeper function for divisional embargo compliance process
Required qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably knowledge of Process Systems Business
- Strong Sales drive and passionate to win
- Experience of operating within Automation and Process industry, essential
- People management and organizational development, courage to change
- Proven track record of leading and managing successful sales teams
- Minimum 5-7 years professional working experience incl. people management
- Proven track record of establishing long term relationships with external customers
- Demonstrate ability in strategic management and leadership
- Background and experience in Sales and Engineering, desirable
- Demonstrate understanding of business drivers behind process industry and plant automation and of decision process used in value creation
- Good command of German and English language
- Strong personality and able to communicate with all levels within and outside of the organization
- Ability to travel in order to fulfil duties of the role essential
